Title: Optimisation in Multi-Agent Systems
Author(s): Ingo Stengel, Udo Bleimann, Jeanne Stynes
Keywords: Multi-Agent Systems, Optimisation
Abstract: Starting from a group forming scenario with a limited number of agents, a procedure to optimize performance is described. The approach defines an architecture to support competitive negotiation by combining an agent approach with a centralized approach. The procedure is evaluated using a case study. As a result the number of participating agents could be increased and the execution time could be reduced in limits.
